There Is Healing After Loss

Grief has a way of changing time. Some days feel heavier, quieter and longer. The things you once enjoyed may not feel the same, and the world can feel unfamiliar without someone you loved.

Your sadness is a reflection of love, not a lack of faith. Sabr does not mean pretending you are not hurting. It means carrying the pain without letting it pull you away from Allah.

Healing does not mean forgetting. It means learning to carry the love, the memories and the dua while slowly finding your way forward.

There will still be moments that hurt, but there can also be moments of ease again. Be gentle with yourself. Speak about the person if it brings comfort. Make dua for them, give charity on their behalf where appropriate, and hold on to hope in Allah’s mercy.

Sadness is real, but so is Allah’s mercy.
