Size Guide
Choose your size using the options and Size Guide on the individual product page. Numbered lengths, lettered sizes and Free Size are different sizing systems and should not be used interchangeably.
Abayas Sold by Length
For abayas explicitly sold by length, a number such as 52, 54 or 56 represents the nominal garment length in inches, measured from the shoulder to the bottom hem. It is not your height or your UK dress size. Check the individual product for its available lengths, fit and any different measuring instructions.
How to Measure
Stand naturally and place the tape at the highest point of your shoulder, next to the neck. Measure down to where you want the hem to finish, allowing for the shoes you plan to wear. Compare that measurement with the listed length options. You can also measure a suitable existing garment laid flat, from the same shoulder point to the hem, without stretching it.
A longer length does not automatically mean a wider fit. If you are between lengths or need more room through the body, contact us about the specific product before choosing.

This table converts numbered lengths only; it does not confirm which sizes are offered on every product or provide body-fit measurements. Photographs may be styled, so use the product's sizing information rather than the model's appearance.
Prayer Dresses and Prayer Abayas
Follow the sizing system shown for the particular prayer garment. Numbered prayer abayas sold by shoulder-to-hem length use their listed inch lengths. A garment labelled Free Size uses its own product information, not a universal Free Size or Plus chart. Do not assume that all prayer dresses share the same length, width or UK dress-size range.
Adult Jilbabs
Use the guide for the exact jilbab and check which part of the garment is being measured. For a set, the top and skirt or trousers may have separate measurements. Lettered labels such as S, M and L are not inch lengths. For an overhead garment, confirm the measuring start point on its product page rather than automatically using an abaya shoulder measurement.
Lettered Two-Piece Jersey Jilbabs
Use these bands only for two-piece jersey jilbabs whose product Size Guide specifies this lettered system. Measure from the highest point of your shoulder beside your neck down to your feet or preferred hem position, in the footwear you plan to wear.

These are recommended wearer lengths, not full height, UK dress sizes or separate top and skirt measurements. Small and Medium share the S / M length band; Large and XL share the L / XL band. Choose only an option offered for the product and ask us about body-fit differences where labels are sold separately. Do not apply these bands to numbered sets, one-piece jilbabs, children's garments or designs with their own explicit lengths.
Children's Abayas and Dresses
For children's abayas explicitly sold by shoulder-to-hem length, measure from the child's shoulder to the desired hem. Do not choose from age or full height alone. Where an option includes both an age label and a length, check the stated length against your child's measurement.
Children's Two-Piece Jilbabs
For our children's sarouel-trouser jilbabs and jilbab-and-skirt sets labelled by lower-garment length, the size is the waist-to-feet or desired-hem length in inches. It is not the child's full height or a shoulder-to-hem abaya measurement.
Ask your child to stand straight. Place the tape at the natural waist and measure down to the intended skirt or trouser hem. Compare this with the actual Skirt Length or Trouser Length options on the product page.

Hijabs and Scarves
Use the length and width stated for the individual scarf. Dimensions can differ between designs, including within jersey, chiffon and XL styles. Scarf dimensions describe the fabric, not body measurements.
Free Size and Lettered Sizes
Use Free Size guidance only where that product is actually labelled Free Size. A product with a single size option is not necessarily Free Size. For Free Size, S/M/L and other labels, use the product's own measurements and fit notes; do not convert the label into an assumed length or UK dress size.
