Ordering

How do I place an order?

Browse our collections, choose your size or length, add to bag and check out securely. You'll receive an email confirmation once your order is placed.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel, contact us as soon as possible at info@amanis.co.uk. We'll always do our best, though orders already dispatched can't be changed.

Delivery

How much is delivery?

UK delivery is free on orders over £120. For orders under £120, a standard charge is shown at checkout. See our Delivery Information page.

How long will my order take?

Most UK orders arrive within 1–3 working days. International times vary by destination — see International Shipping.

Returns

What is your returns policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery on unworn items in original condition with tags attached. Jewellery and hijabs are excluded for hygiene reasons. See Returns & Exchanges.

Sizing

How do I choose my size?

Most abayas and dresses are sized by length in inches, measured from shoulder to feet. See our Size Guide for full charts. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

How are kids' two-piece jilbabs sized?

Kids' two-piece jilbabs are measured from the waist to the feet, so the size number is the skirt or trouser length in inches — not the child's full height. See the Kids Jilbab section of our Size Guide.

Products & Fabric

What is the difference between an open and closed abaya?

An open abaya has an open front and is worn layered over an outfit or inner dress, often with a belt. A closed abaya is a single, full-coverage piece you slip on. Both offer elegant, modest coverage.

What is the difference between a jilbab and a prayer dress?

A jilbab is usually a two-piece set — an overhead top and a skirt — for full, flowing coverage. A prayer dress (isdal) is a loose, slip-on one or two-piece designed for easy, comfortable prayer coverage.

How do I care for my garments?

Care guidance is included in the Fabric & Care section on each product page. As a rule, a cool gentle wash and a warm iron keep pieces looking their best.
