Imagine If Every Door That Broke Your Heart Was Protecting You From What You Couldn’t See

Some doors close so painfully that protection is the last word you would use. A relationship ends, a plan collapses, an opportunity disappears, or something you begged Allah for simply does not happen. You see the heartbreak clearly. What you cannot see is everything that might have waited beyond the door.

There may have been harm, regret, fitnah, compromise or a version of you that would have drifted from what matters most. You cannot claim to know the hidden reason for every loss, and not every hardship should be reduced to a simple explanation. But you can leave room for the possibility that Allah’s wisdom reaches beyond the part of the story visible to you.

Grieve what ended without turning grief into certainty that you were abandoned. Tawakkul allows two truths to sit together: this hurt me, and Allah still knows what I do not know. Keep asking for healing, guidance and replacement with whatever is genuinely better, whether that arrives as a new door or as peace with the one that stayed closed.

Protection is not always visible when it happens. Sometimes mercy is recognised much later; sometimes never. Trust Allah without inventing explanations.

Ya Hafiz, protect me from harms I cannot recognise. Ya Hakim, keep me from chasing what You have removed if returning would damage my deen or my peace. Give me acceptance without numbness, discernment without suspicion, and trust without pretending the loss was easy. Ameen.
