There is a version of you nobody in your life completely knows. Allah knows that person too.

The thoughts you would never say aloud. The things you regret immediately after doing them. The nights when your imaan feels nothing like the version of you people praise. The private battle between who you are today and who you desperately want to become.

People only judge the pages they are allowed to read. Allah knows the whole story, including the chapters you wish had never been written. He knows what you hide from embarrassment, what you are trying to leave behind and how exhausting it can feel to fight the same weakness again.

Do not let being known by Allah frighten you away from Him. Let it make you more honest. You do not need to manufacture a polished version of yourself in dua. Bring the contradiction, the regret, the confusion and the sincere desire to change. Tawbah begins with truth, not performance.

Your hidden self does not have to remain your permanent self. Small private acts of obedience matter. Closing a door to sin when nobody would know, making istighfar after a mistake, protecting a prayer, returning something you owe, or choosing restraint in a moment nobody sees can quietly reshape who you are.

The One who knows what you hide also knows every sincere step you take towards becoming better.

Ya Al-‘Alim, You know the parts of me nobody sees. Ya Al-Ghafur, forgive what I am ashamed of, heal my hidden battles and make my private self more pleasing to You than the image people praise. Ameen.
