Nobody Knows How Much You’re Carrying

You answer messages. You show up. You smile when people ask if you are okay. Maybe that is why nobody sees how tired your heart has become. The overthinking, the quiet disappointments, the pressure, the fear, the responsibilities, the nights when your body is exhausted but your mind will not settle. People often see the part of you that keeps functioning, not the cost of keeping it all together. Sometimes you have carried the same weight for so long that even you have started calling it normal.

Allah sees every hidden part of it. He knows the tears you hold back, the thoughts you never say aloud, and the ache that sits in your chest while you are trying to act normal. Do not assume your struggle is unnoticed because it is private. The One who created your heart knows what has been weighing it down, including burdens you no longer know how to explain clearly. You deserve space to notice the strain before your heart has to shout for attention.

Bring the mess to Allah exactly as it is. You do not need polished words. Say: Ya Latif, bring gentleness to what feels sharp inside me. Ya Salam, place calm where my thoughts feel restless. Ya Wakeel, carry what I keep trying to control. Give me wisdom to recognise what is mine to handle, courage to ask for help, and permission in my own heart to rest without guilt. Let me move through this season without losing closeness to You. Ameen.
