WHEN YOU ARE FASTING, EXHAUSTED, AND AFRAID YOUR BEST WILL NOT BE ENOUGH

An afternoon exam in Ramadan can make nerves feel louder. You are revising while tired, watching the clock, thinking about the journey, and wondering whether hunger will make your mind disappear at the exact moment you need it.

Prepare for the day you actually have, not the energy you wish you had.

Do the heavier revision earlier. Eat a sensible suhoor. Hydrate well during the hours you can drink. Protect sleep. Pack identification, stationery and permitted equipment the night before. Check the route, exam rules and prayer arrangements so avoidable uncertainty is not added to normal pressure.

When the paper begins, narrow your world. Read the question in front of you. Manage the time you have. Do not spend the first ten minutes imagining everyone else feels sharper, faster or less hungry. You cannot read their bodies or their marks.

Fasting does not require you to pretend your energy is identical to every other day. Work steadily with the concentration Allah has given you in that moment.

If you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant, or have genuine concerns about fasting safely, seek appropriate healthcare advice and qualified religious guidance for your circumstances. Serious decisions should not be made from peer pressure.

After the exam, let the paper end. Learn what is useful, then stop replaying every uncertain answer until iftar.

Ramadan is larger than one grade. Your effort matters, your salah matters, your character matters, and one paper is not a verdict on your worth.

YOU DO NOT NEED PERFECT ENERGY TO OFFER CAREFUL EFFORT.

Tonight, prepare what can be prepared and give sleep a place in the plan.
