Starting salah again can feel harder than people realise. You know prayer is an anchor, yet shame, inconsistency, distraction, tiredness, or fear of failing again can make beginning feel heavy. The longer you stay away, the more impossible returning can seem, until one missed prayer becomes a story in your mind that says you no longer belong near worship.
Do not wait to become perfect before you return. You do not have to repair years in one night. Begin with the next prayer in front of you, then protect the one after that. Mercy meets a sincere return at the beginning, not only after consistency has already been proven. Faithful steps can become a new rhythm.
Ya Al-Hadi, Guide me back to salah with sincerity and steadiness. Ya At-Tawwab, accept my return and forgive the negligence behind me. Do not let Shaytan use my inconsistency as an excuse for more delay. Put love for prayer back into my heart and let the adhan feel like an invitation to come near, not a reminder to hide.
Help me build practical habits around worship: prepare early, make wudu before I am rushed, protect prayer times, and begin again quickly when I slip. Teach me to come to You whether I feel spiritually strong or spiritually tired. Let salah become the place where I am repaired, not another place where I punish myself.
